State of the union.
* My back is still out. It's hit that point where it doesn't give me trouble for hours at a time, then spasms abruptly, causing me to cry or fall down or whatever. The worst of it is that I almost forget about it at some points, thus making the sudden pain a hell of a lot more surprising. It's like la la la la AAAAAAH! Not fun. John and Chris have said to call Doctor Jane and they'll cover me, so I'm goinbg to do that, just as soon as my period finishes.
* I'm at porpentine's place in Santa Cruz for the next two days; I'll be back at my place sometime late tomorrow evening. I'm cooking dinner tonight, thus proving that people only love me because I feed them.
* Ponies! pelogrande sent me some of the new Tiny Tins Ponies -- very cute, and very small. Absolutely perfect, in fact, for sitting on a desk, assuming I get another day job sometime soonish. No hair for my co-workers to mess around with.
* The de-cluttering of my room begins. Slowly, but it begins. I'm going to be getting rid of things that a) have no sentimental value, b) haven't been of use to me in several years, and c) I really don't give a damn about. I may have a garage sale; I'll almost certainly be listing some things here on the 'please come take it away' ticket for local folks.
* Finished re-reading 'Wicked', by Gregory Maguire. I remember now why I loved it so much the first time I read it. I really need to read more of Maguire's work.
