White snow blankets the front yard, a peaceful winter wonderland. The Christmas lights twinkle around the edges of the icy roof.
Choose your plants!
Sunflower-generates sun. Necessary for growing plants.
Poinsettia-generates holiday cheer. Necessary for growing Christmas plants.
Potato mine-explodes when stepped on.
Tallnut-provides sturdy defense.
Mistletoe-planted on zombies; drains their energy.
Holly-shoots spiky leaves and exploding balls, can strike flying zombies.
Repeater-fires two peas a turn.
Yule Log-peas fired through a Yule Log do double damage. And sparkle.
Pine Trees-catch and hold zombies in their branches until devoured.
Spikeweed-this dangerous groundcover damages zombies who walk on it.

Plant Poinsettia.
Most normal plants falter when planted in the snow. The Poinsettia takes root happily, and its cheerful glow melts the snow to either side! Now you can plant three normal plants!
Collect falling sun.
Collect holiday cheer.
The zombies...are coming.
The first zombie wanders onto your lawn, and steps on the rake someone left carelessly out in the open. Safe...for now.

Plant Sunflower.
Plant Poinsettia.
The second zombie is advancing down your lawn!
Collect sun.
Collect holiday cheer.
Collect falling sun.
The zombie is coming!
Plant Mistletoe on zombie.

The Mistletoe begins to drain the zombie. A third zombie has appeared! This one is wearing a wreath on his head, granting him some protection!

Plant Sunflower.
The second zombie collapses, leaving the Mistletoe sitting on your lawn. Watch out-it will infect any plant it touches! The Holly begins attacking the wreath zombie. Two more zombies have appeared!

Dig up Mistletoe.
Plant Potato Mine.
Plant Tallnut.
Plant Poinsettia.
The wreath zombie is felled by the Holly. The Tallnut takes root despite the snow, thwarting one zombie's advance. The second zombie continues forward, unaware of the Potato Mine now arming itself. In the distance, the ominous sound of sleigh bells begins to chime...
