Technically, you could argue that this strip is actually 'Christmas in Portland,' since the only panel that doesn't necessarily take place in Oregon is the first one. Since I was in the company of Vixy and Tony (who is bizarrely not appearing in this strip) the entire time, I say it counts as part of Christmas in Seattle. Also, it makes my series ordering much simpler if I just stick with a single city.
Powell's really is big enough to be considered a city of books. Despite this, several people managed to stalk us down while we were in the stacks. They say this is because I'm good about letting people know where I'll be, but I'm starting to suspect sub-dermal tracking chips. And yes, my friend Tony-from-Portland (rather than our normal Tony) really looks that much like a Muppet. It's awesome.
