I ain't dead.

...but I feel like I am.

Vixy thinks I may have been fighting something off for the past several days, and I think she's likely right. I'm completely exhausted, despite having slept for twelve hours last night, and on the plane, and way later than the norm on Monday, and and and. Also, I spent most of Saturday night throwing up, and that's never a good sign. But I'm back in California now, and that's a good thing. Just ask Lilly.

I'm staying at Kate's tonight, where we will catch up on our missed television, and generally carry on like the strange, squealy creatures that we occasionally are. Thanks to Tony's Tivo and Vixy's wonderfulness, I've seen the season premiere of Supernatural (I made noises only bats could hear, I swear), as well as the most recent episode of True Blood. That means I'm only actually behind on America's Next Top Model and Primeval, although there's a new episode of Fringe airing tonight.

Yes, that is a lot of television.

Today has been very productive, in a blurry, bleary way. I'm going to be in the SFWA New Member Spotlight, which is cool; I've started working with the Duckcon con-com, so that we can totally rock June like nobody's business; and I'm processing buckets of edits from The Agent, who wisely gives them to me in huge swaths, so that I can play whack-a-mole with my own continuity issues. Have I mentioned recently that I adore The Agent?

Work on Red Roses and Dead Things is nearing completion, and there should be updates on that Real Soon Now, including info on pre-orders. Beckett has the poetry for the second chapbook, to be available exclusively at Conflikt II. And I have a headache.

Now we must rinse.
