Dreams and comics.

Just as a footnote on last night's dream:

I consider it entirely unfair that I can't actually do my holiday shopping in a parallel dimension run by versions of us who aren't so much 'evil' as 'slightly skewed,' because their toys were much better. I just want to put this out there: if and when we get dimension-hopping capabilities, I am totally abusing my powers for action figures just as soon as I get the opportunity to do so.

In a vague tangent that mostly makes sense if you come from inside my head:

The graphic novel for Wanted is about fifty thousand times cooler than the movie (which has practically nothing to do with the comic book). The collected Middleman graphic novel is also hyper-cool, but not quite as cool as the show, because the show is made of awesome, win, and pie. Both of these things have made me happy recently, but not as happy as meeting Ruby Summers, the future-timeline daughter of Scott Summers and Emma Frost. She shoots eyebeams and turns into organic ruby.

It's a good time to be an X-geek.
