A few random notes on the weekend.

1. Chris took one for the team in a big, big way last night, when I made him watch all of Flu Bird Horror, which was, I swear, written by pulling plot twists out of a big hat. Actually, that would explain a lot of what goes on in Science-Fiction Channel original movies.

2. Chris also got my Toby wiki working properly, so that I am now able to begin the incredibly huge and daunting process of translating a multi-book universe into wiki form. And it is so, so necessary. My continuity guide is out of control, and because it's already so big and so difficult to search, there's stuff that isn't getting put in. Wiki lets me have the details like 'how Toby eats her cornflakes' without feeling like I'm being entirely silly.

3. There's a new heirloom tomato grower at the Pleasant Hill Farmer's Marker. They grow varietals I'd never even heard of before. I have now tasted an Evergreen and a Berkeley Tie-Dye. It's good to be easily pleased.

4. If you've been considering comic book purchases, may I recommend a visit to Flying Colors in Concord? My darling countermonkeys have a daily quota while the boss is out of town. (It was funny. I said 'I'm trying to only pick up on Wednesdays,' they said 'we have a quota,' Chris and I immediately made purchases.)

5. Since I found the new volume of Girl Genius in hardcover for Chris, he's buying me Supernatural season three. The barter economy is dead awesome sometimes.

6. Tomorrow, I get to start making calls about my physical therapy. It's probably going to really scramble my already limited time for pure social interaction, but that's okay, because when it's done, I might be able to play DDR and do aerobics again. How I long for that best of all possible futures.

7. My cat is insane. Also, my cat has been stealing my underwear for weeks, because she's been bringing me panties all morning. I have no living clue why.

8. Scanner is broken again. Angry blonde smash puny technology.

9. My next week is pretty packed, with writing to do, revising to do, a recording session, and a visit from Jennifer. Plus I'm getting tickets to go to Seattle for rehearsal, and it's time to start seriously planning for OVFF. Where did 2008 go? Seriously.

10. Sometimes, Stephen King really does have all the answers.

Hope your lives continue awesome.
