Good morning, Ahnk-Morpork!

Another week begins, with another fire-drill out the door, accompanied by the dulcet tones of a Siamese cat demanding to know why I persist in setting off the loud buzzing thing every morning. Oh Lilly, my dearest Lilly, believe me, if I could send you in my place, I would. In a heartbeat.

My iPod's current Top Twenty-Five Most Played playlist is practically a summation of my musical tastes throughout the ages. I'm tempted to transcribe it, just because the funny, it is vast. It's also very self-reinforcing, since I find that I tend to just listen to the whole list over and over again, thus cementing the songs more firmly in the 'I listen to these more than anything else' category. This really has nothing to do with anything, but I was thinking about it, so hey.

In case you managed to miss it, I do have an art sale running right now, to build up funds for BayCon and clear out my files a little bit. (When you can no longer close the portfolio, it's time to sell a few things.) All details are on the post itself, and feel free to ask questions, if you've got 'em.

I would have finished a strip last night, but I lost my White-Out. I found my White-Out this morning, so I'll probably be finishing it tonight, while I watch Doctor Who. Life is so hard, really.

Tonight is the last 'solo' night I'll have in my house for a while, as Teddy and Tom arrive tomorrow, leave on the morning of the 24th, and are promptly replaced by Amy the Fiddler, who's coming out because a) we need to record and b) we haven't seen each other recently enough. Normal existence will continue around these events, including edits, writing, rewriting, and hitting things with a machete. Wish me sanity!

How's your Monday?
