Finding myself with a sudden three-day weekend, I did what made the most sense at the time: I agreed to take the train up to Sacramento to spend the weekend visiting with friends I hadn't seen in the better part of forever. Bench seats, large industrial cafeteria table, the whole nine yards, enhanced by the addition of overhead bins

You know, that was a much more surreal image in British English. Took me a while to work out why the refuse receptacles were above head height.

I'm still mourning that BreakSk8 didn't win. :)

Breaksk8 was indeed made of awesome. I just thought Kaba were better dancers and didn't need a gimmick the way some of the other crews did. (But dude, Breaksk8's routine for 'Bad'? MADE OF WIN.)

Oh BreakSk8 makes Pogs go YAY! Mostly because Pog is a jamskater herself. Team BreakSk8 needs to watch out for JamPhysics, though. JamPhysics dominated the Michigan WSA Championship this past weekend.

While I agree whole-heartedly with you about Kaba Modern and Status Quo, I will say that the week Status Quo won over Kaba Modern they did arguably have a better routine and I can see why America voted them #1 that week. This is why I believe the show should go into the finale with a Top 3 rather than a Top 2... because I don't believe the judges would have ever picked Status Quo to go to the finals if they'd had a choice.
