Well, I'm awake. That's a start. And I've finally done some chord updates to the website, which means Ben likely won't hunt me down with a roque mallet. Which is a good thing, as I've never really wanted a starring role in a Stephen King novel.
Plans for the weekend involve a) writing at home, b) writing on a train, and c) writing in Sacramento. Oh, and hanging out with Michelle, David, Matt, and Kaia while I'm actually in Sacramento, that being the entire point of the excursion (although with the way I'm working right now, there may be a lot of pauses while I go glossy-eyed and suddenly declare 'excuse me, I need to go revise chapter eleven').
I'll be seeing 21 tonight, because nothing says 'happy blonde' like a movie full of math geniuses. Save, perhaps, the fact that Numb3rs returns on April 4th, the same night as the release of The Ruins, which gives me a night containing math and a horrible Mayan temple full of things that want to make you die. All I really need is a box full of doses of the T-Virus and I'll be all set!
(This is gonna be a great summer for movies. And thanks to the one good side-effect of the strike, it's gonna be a great summer for new television. Really, I am in my place of mellow happiness right now.)
Amy is confirmed as coming out at the end of April, which means we'll be getting her part on 'Oh, Michelle' recorded before Vixy comes out at the end of May to do her share of the song. So that track is pretty much gonna be MADE OF WIN. As are all the others, thanks to the tireless efforts of my (more than reasonably tired) arrangement god, recording and sound engineer, Jeff Bohnhoff. The man wears many hats. All of them fit. Truly, he is an inspiration to us all.
What's up for your weekend?
writing,
movies,
