Still alive!
I am home; I am not dead. My pants are very, very bankrupt at the moment, so please don't assume I've seen anything that's been posted anywhere since Wednesday night -- I didn't have Internet at all in Boston. Yeah, total cold-turkey. I'm amazed I haven't come down with the cold shakes.
Lilly managed to snub me for almost four whole minutes before crawling into my lap and demanding that I never leave her again. For her, this is very nearly a record, and I'm very impressed. Also, she's in my lap right now, and on the off chance that she's managed to figure out English, I'm not risking the claws. Good kitty.
I'll post more about the weekend later, when I've both un-bankrupt my pants, and managed to wake up all the way. For right now, this is just your 'I ain't dead' announcement, and a merry greeting from your returned wandering one.
