Iron Poet XI, Batch IV.

Feb 06, 2008 13:00

Hello, and welcome to the fourth batch of poems written for the latest round of Iron Poet, the game where you give me three words, and I give you a headache. Also, potentially, give myself a migraine. Please remember, while waiting for a poem round-up, that this round follows the longest round in Iron Poet history: Iron Poet X, which ran from May 2006 to October 2007. So yes, it could be a while. Patience is a virtue that keeps your resident poet slightly closer to sane.

Today's poems include:

* A Question for nightface. (Blank verse, Babylon Wood.)
* Ode to High Heels for spiritdance. (Song form, lots of dead stuff.)
* Green-Eyed Girl for djonn. (Song form, Firefly universe.)
* Dinner's Source Code for snobahr. (Rhyming verse.)
* Superstition's Sweetheart for tibicina. (Song form.)
* Unreasonable Requests for patoadam. (Dictated structure.)
* Siren for autographedcat. (Rhyming verse.)

Only seven in this round-up, but believe me, it's better for my sanity if we break now. This round is CLOSED to new submissions. I'll be opening a new round...someday. When I finish the various other things I have pending, and my personal madness allows.
