Guitarists are AWESOME.
So I'm trying to finalize a set list for Boskone, a convention I'll be attending without any of my normal cadre of free-range guitarists. (I don't have one of my own, but my migration routes tend to take me through their natural habitats on a fairly reliable basis.) This had me kinda twitchy, because, well, I need guitarists to sing a lot of my songs, and to catch a guitarist, I need chords. But to get chords, I need a guitarist. And thus does the cycle begin!
I started combing through my online songbook, looking for songs with available chords that didn't require you to be an octopus, or Jeff Bohnhoff, to play. I made a list. I started connecting available songs with potential guitarists...
...and discovered that I had enough material for five sets, just from what's been chorded and entered on my website. To which I say: um, dude.
Paul, Tony, Jeff, as my primary migrant guitarists, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys RULE.
