Once upon a Tuesday, weary,
Faced with efforts dull and dreary,
I went looking for a writing meme I hadn't done before;
Then upon my blog I heeded
Just exactly what I needed,
And the meme I stole quite promptly from the lovely telynor.
From the fair and distant lady whom we name as telynor,
Lovely lady I adore.

What's your favourite thing to parody?
Right now, usually Vixy, because she turns the best colors.

hee hee hee... yes, yes she does. Never will forget when you and the Bohnhoff's sprung "Wil's Song" on her... there were at least a few of us paying as much attention to Vixy turning colors as we were you guys singing... that was *fun*... "And now you want me to sing, don't you?"

(I'm glad tfabris caught that. Priceless.)

Ah, distinctly now the joke arises from the veil of smoke
Surrounding memories invoked from ancient days of verbal thrill;
Where the writing desk and raven had found temporary haven
As word-mavens picked their similarities apart with skill
'Till one discerning poster cried "The answer needs no skill -
Why, they both sport inky quills!"

I have started a journal for my writing exercises. It is friends locked to a handful of people, mostly fellow poets, whose input I seek to improve my skills.

I would be honored if you, in particular, would lend your advice from time to time - especially on the lyrical poetry.

What's your favourite thing that you've written?
Um...poetry, 'Patchwork Hearts', short story, 'Pixie Season', fanfic story, 'Terminus of Prayer', gamefic story, 'Halfway Through the Wood', novel, Rosemary and Rue, and song, 'Sycamore Tree'.

I tried looking through your poetry tags for 'Patchwork Hearts' and through your gamefic tags for 'Halfway Through the Wood', and didn't find either of those. Decided it would be better to ask first than to go searching for the others. Thank you!
