A little OVFF course: onwards to FRIDAY (night).

The first time I was asked to participate in the Pegasus Concert was 2004, when I performed 'Black Davie's Ride' with Paul Kwinn and Alisa Garcia (one-half of Puzzlebox, aka, 'my darling Matt's favourite filk group in the entire known universe'). I've actually been in the concert every year since then, which I hadn't fully realized until I really ( Read more... )

AFAIK there are at least two recordings of your performance: mdlbear on an H2, probably at full fidelity, and catsittingstill on an H4, at MP3 quality. It may take those individuals a bit to get everything separated and whatever, but they're out there, barring Murphy.

I'm looking forward to hearing it too...

I will absolutely be asking for recordings, once folks have things sorted out and copied down. I'll also probably ask the other people involved (IE, Amy, Brenda, Mary, Tony, Vixy, and, of course, Talis, since it's her song) if they mind the recording being posted on the Filk Archive, since there are a lot of folks in the UK who couldn't be there.

At the same time, I really, really hope I have the chance to get all those permissions before anybody starts sharing things around. Files being distributed widely without permission make me sad. (I know that generally goes without saying in the filk community, but I always get a little twitchy when recordings are involved and permissions haven't been obtained. This is because Pretty Little Dead Girl was held up by about two months by a single person not signing off on the 'sure, you can share this around'.)

Mark took all of the concert through the sound board. I'm certain he'd give you a copy of your song.

I'm a notorious procrastinator, but I'll see what I can do about getting a copy to you. I just offloaded my Mac this afternoon onto the inside fileserver at work, whence it will eventually find its way into something accessible but well-hidden -- and probably password-protected -- until somebody gives me permission to share.

And I now have a copy of Mark's recording; I've emailed you to get an address I can send an MP3 to. (I prefer not simply to assume that sending large files is okay.)
