A vague attempt to make airfare suck less, step #1: art.

Airfare costs money. I do not have all that much money right now. And so, in an effort to raise money for airfare, I am going to do something I've been fairly resistant (in my hoarding, pack ratty little way) to doing in the past:

I am going to sell and auction off some original artwork.

Note that this is not me re-opening for commissions -- I still have several of those pending, and that have been pending longer than I really like to think about. I'll be trying to fill them in the next few weeks, depending on their complexity and whether or not they've been fully discussed with the commission-ees. I may wind up re-opening on a limited basis once those are done, depending on my bandwidth and how the art sales go.

What I'm going to do, right now, is a mix of direct sales and blind auctions -- entries where I'll set comments screened, set a starting bid, and let people bid in privacy. The entry will be updated with the current high bid periodically, and the auctions will run for at least 48 hours each, to allow folks a chance to participate. All pieces will have a linked scan and a full description of the actual piece (IE, medium, materials, size, any flaws).

If there's a piece you're particularly interested in, feel free to email me now, before the sales begin, to let me know and discuss pricing.

Thank you!
