It's a big day. Let's look snazzy.

Today is a big day -- my CDs are finally arriving! -- and so this morning, I took the time to dress in the most calming, comforting clothing I could find. Some people feel more prepared to face the world and its many challenges when they're wearing Armani or Prada. I feel more prepared to face the world and its inevitable zombie apocalypse when I'm wearing my brown Supernatural T-shirt from last year's San Diego Comicon, combined with as much camo as is humanly possible. And that is, by the by, a lot of camo.

Starting from the top and working my way down, I'm wearing:

* A bright green scrunchie.
* My blue zip-up S.T.A.R.S. sweatshirt.
* My brown Supernatural T-shirt.
* A screaming ecto-green bra. (Who ya gonna call?!)
* Camo cargo pants. (Camo cargo pants are love, yo.)
* Camo under-the-cargo pants. (Camo pants are love, period.)
* Camo shoes with little blue flowers on them.

Jewelry-wise, I have my necklace of many coyotes, and I've opted to skip sampling a new BPAL scent today, in favour of sticking with the Bad Luck Woman Blues. Because smelling like sex in the bayou while your lover's zombie relatives chase you down with shotguns is fun. (I clearly have Healy-girl taste in perfume.) I am Ready To Face The Day. Possibly with a shotgun, but hey, that's a form of Facing The Day. And when you Face The Day like that, the day damn well knows that it's been faced.

Also, I have really, really good hair today. I consider this somewhat key. I am not, for the most part, very happy with the current length of my hair; I don't like it being any shorter than my shoulders (something which means, considering my hair type, that I often resemble a standard poodle). I must, however, admit that my current 'Sue Storm with a gentle perm' look is mad cute. So hey. Today, I will own my hair.

And that, my dears, is that.
