Icon needed -- silly ol' brain.
So I keep one icon in my available-on-LJ choices, called 'current', which represents whatever book I'm currently doing the most work on. Right now, it's black text on a white background, for 'Newsflesh'. Recently, however, I've switched over to doing a lot of work on 'Rosemary and Rue'...
...which I have no icon for. Bother. Moreover, I'm having serious issues coming up with an icon for it, and so I turn to thee for suggestions, as I have great faith that y'all have the answers to nigh-all-things.
I'm not looking for text on the icon, just the book's title and something symbolic. Things that would make sense include...
* Koi fish.
* The San Francisco skyline.
* Blood. (I keep thinking of doing just the title and a drop of very red blood on a white background, and then realizing that I don't know how to make a drop of blood in Photoshop, getting annoyed, and stomping off to make another dozen '10th Kingdom' icons.)
* Some sort of broken timepiece.
* Rosemary, rue, or violets, or any combination thereof.
* A smoking gun.
Give me ideas, o great Internet, for I am flummoxed and sad.
