I just went to save-and-file a letter from Mer, being the sort of blonde who never deletes anything she receives via email (because life is better when nothing ever actually goes away).
'Folder 'mer' not found,' says my email program. 'Create?'
Well, okay, I think, that's a little weird; I was sure I'd named her folder 'mer', that being easier to type than her full name (and I am very fond of easy in my naming conventions). But apparently not. So, save file, folder 'meredith'.

I checked my list of folders; the 'M' section consists of 'matt' and 'merav' -- no 'mer' of any sort. This was freaky, but since it's still pre-eight in the morning, maybe I was just hallucinating the fact that I've stored our hundreds upon hundreds of emails in their own folder. Maybe I was nuts. So I hit my generic letters folder and searched for her name. No results.
Somehow, my email program has lost one single folder, and it's the folder containing all Meredith's email. AIIIIIRRRGHGHGHGHGHGHHHHH!!!
