Is it Canada Day?
When I was walking home from work just now, I heard some drunken singing of "Oh Canada" behind me and thought it was completely random.
Huh.

Some favorite Canadians I'd like to honor: Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling, Matthew Perry, and most of the cast of Battlestar Galactica.
And despite everything, I do like your accent. In fact, mine has been mistaken as Canadian for some reason.
