I've been WAITING for your F1 post to squee about Kubica's 1st win, good on him! Poor Kimi has been having some bad luck this season. Don't get me started on the arrogance and attitude of Hamilton - like I said last season, they created a monster. btw, have you seen the youtube vid of Kimi falling on his yacht? Hilarious ( ... )

Pocono is always boring as hell and the COT made it even worse. Strategy is all there is to Pocono and everyone plays the game. The drivers keep complaining about the COT issues and NASCAR keeps saying they aren't changing anything. Well this is the end result - a parade where no one can pass. Edwards and Biffle, who led large portions of the Dover race the week before, said afterwards that they couldn't pass lap cars when they were leading unless the car purposely let them by, that's how messed up the aero is with these cars. When the leader can't pass a lap car, there are big problems.

Oh, you found a pic of baby!Brian - look how young and adorable he is there. I do like his Redbull colors on him, but I still miss the blue, red, and white. Montoya has really improved this season, even if the results don't always show it - his fire was a bit scary this weekend, but he got out really quick.

And I loved Dead Like Me . I heard there are rumblings that they are making a movie?

I still don't really understand what it is about the COT... I mean, on the one hand, it's really safer for the drivers, isn't it, but on the other, the aero is crappier? I hope the next race is better... I can't remember where it'll be...

Yeah, baby!brian is adorable, isn't he? I was surprised to find his picture and Montoya... Must be when Montoya was still racing Busch race...? 'Cause he was a rookie last season, yet Brian was already with Red Bull last year.

Hey, you like Dead Like Me too! Yeah, there is a straight-to-DVD movie, but unfortunately, Rube won't be there and Daisy will be played by a different actress. I'm not amused :(.

The COT was implemented for a few reasons: safety, to lower costs, and to improve the racing and fix aero issues. Let's review. True, the car is very safe and has been shown to stand up to serious wrecks. But the old car was pretty safe as well and pretty much every driver has said that the safety upgrades could have been implemented in the old car. Lowering costs is a joke as costs are higher now than ever, more teams are having to find financial partners to stay afloat and smaller teams are merging with other teams or closing down. If a COT sufferes damage during a race, teams have to scrap them because with all the rules and specs they have to be rebuilt from the floor up, where with the old car many times they could just rebuild the damaged area. Every car has to be "certified" by NASCAR with costs a pretty penny in itself. The racing is downright horrible on the mile and a half tracks, not as bad on short tracks but no real improvement over the old car. Many drivers have said that with all the restrictions and rules there isn't ( ... )

Thanks for explaining that :D. It makes sense that the car has problems because it's so boxy. Soon enough people are gonna be fed up. I hope NASCAR will get their heads out of their asses once they start losing fans (and drivers, if the cost keeps raising)...

Hey, your home race! I like Sonoma though. It was very different to see them racing on a road course.

Good on Scott Speed! Hope he keeps it up and we can see him on Cup races soon. I wish I still got the Busch/Nationwide races... I don't know why my cabled pulled it, considering Ambrose is racing in those...

No Rube and a different Daisy? BOO.
I know... Makes me less excited to watch it :(.

Oooh, I was wondering whether you got a chance to watch F1, since it was at the same time as NASCAR. I'm so happy that Kubica finally nailed a first win for BMW, even if it was at the cost of Kimi's race... There aren't enough times for me to say that Hamilton is an arrogant spoiled brat moron. I hope it goes downward for him from here on out... Next race in France is not a track for overtaking, so here's me crossing my fingers ;D. Oooh, I gotta find that Kimi yacht video. Sounds hilarious ( ... )

Yup. I recorded F1 and watched it that night. :D Poor Kimi - Kubica's quote was priceless though.

I just want to shake Kyle sometimes and be like you are very talented, but pull your head out of your ass. If he wasn't alienating so many people, they would be outlets for him to help deal with the fan stuff. Jeff and Jimmie have been dealing with it for years. His brother had to deal with it after his first few controversial seasons. Here's hoping he shapes up a bit and keeps his head on straight.

Oooh, I love your icon :D.

I didn't realize Kubica was such a cheeky guy! Hee ;D, well, it's always the quiet stony-faced ones on-screen, I guess...

Exactly. Maybe it's better if he doesn't win the cup this year. Ah well, I'll continue supporting him...
