F1 Drivers' Drawings

Aug 17, 2007 16:57

Look what I found in this month's issue of F1 Racing Magazine! The guys flexed their artistic muscle and drew their teammates for charity.

My favorite: NICK HEIDFELD by Robert Kubica (BMW)

I'm sorry, but that's just too flippin' cute. It looks like a child's drawing! Plus, I LOVE how he crammed in all the sponsorships! <3Kubica

ROBERT KUBICA by Nick Heidfeld (BMW)

I quite like this... Artistic in a simple, creative way. Apparently, this one was rather Picasso-esque ;).

FERNANDO ALONSO by Lewis Hamilton (McLaren)

Don't think it really looks like him, but not bad. Apparently, when it comes to art, Lewis is pretty average, heh ;) (God, I can't resist taking a dig at him, can I?).

LEWIS HAMILTON by Fernando Alonso (McLaren)

Okay, not the best either, but somehow I see Fernando in this. Hmmm... Plus, notice the word "Boy" written on his collar? Hee hee, cheeky Fernando *LOVES him*.

FELIPE MASSA by Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari)

One of my other favorites. I love how both Ferrari drivers (see below) use their teammates' interests to depict them (and they put in some effort doing so too). You can't tell, but on each of the soccer players, Kimi's written "Massa" on their helmets!

KIMI RAIKKONEN by Felipe Massa (Ferrari)

Ice Man and his hockey! Hee hee, this was a pretty good drawing. Notice he wrote "Ferrari" on the stick?

GIANCARLO FISICHELLA by Heikki Kovalainen (Renault)

Cool picture in a kind-of portrait style. Nice job, Heikki ;).

HEIKKI KOVALAINEN by Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault)

Also a cool picture, this time in a comic style. Love the spiky hair and tattoo on the forehead, Fisi!

JENSON BUTTON by Rubens Barrichello (Honda)

Hee hee, both Honda drivers are more sarcastic in their pictures (see below). I love it though. Great portrayal of the Honda problem, Rubens!

RUBENS BARRICHELLO by Jenson Button (Honda)

Pretty much the best drawing of the lot, from the now-forgotten Brit. And it's pretty funny too ;). Well done, Jens. You won over Lewis on this one.

RALF SCHUMACHER by Jarno Trulli (Toyota)

Ummm, yeah. Pretty much the worst of the lot. And his name's spelled "Ralf," Jarno. I wonder if he even talks to his teammate... Well, at least Ralf's smiling, unlike how he usually is ;).

JARNO TRULLI by Ralf Schumacher (Toyota)

A lot better than Trulli's, though Jarno kinda looks like a chick in this one ;). Hardy har har...

DAVID COULTHARD by Mark Webber (Red Bull)

Yikes! He looks scary! Webber got the square jaw and the hairy chest, but a monobrow? Does Coulthard really have that? Hmmm...

MARK WEBBER by David Coulthard (Red Bull)

Oh, you Brits and your perception of us, 'the Colonies,' Down Under... There aren't kangaroos jumpin' on the street, you know? But, I think Coulthard captured Webber's face really well... And nice detail with the Red Bull on the pouch. What's with the "Aged 10 3/4" though?

NICO ROSBERG by Alex Wurz (Williams)

I quite like this one too cause it has its own style. Doesn't look like Rosberg at all, but hey... Reminds me of the guy who did "Guernica." Was that Picasso too?

ALEX WURZ by Nico Rosberg (Williams)

Another one that I think is quite artistic. I quite like this side look. Nice, Nico, Nice...

TONIO LIUZZI by Scott Speed (Toro Rosso)

Nice portrait-style drawing, though he made a little bit of a mistake, whoops!

SCOTT SPEED by Tonio Liuzzi (Toro Rosso)

Kinda sad that Scott's no longer in the team, but MY GOODNESS, doesn't this look more like HAMILTON than SPEED? Maybe because apparently Liuzzi "fucked up nose," heh.

TAKUMA SATO by Anthony Davidson (Super Aguri)

Oh, very good picture, Ant. You also win over compatriot Hamilton in art :).

ANTHONY DAVIDSON by Takuma Sato (Super Aguri)

Comes in second behind Kubica's for cutest picture!!! I LOVE it, especially the Union Jack on the ant's backside, hee hee...

CHRISTIJAN ALBERS by Adrian Sutil (Spyker)

Well, honestly, I don't know how he looks like, but this is a pretty decent picture by Adrian.

ADRIAN SUTIL by Christijan Albers (Spyker)

Another cute one! But I wish I knew what he was saying (it's in German, ja?).

Wow, I'm impressed! And entertained, hee hee... Okay, well, now I have to get ready for dinner. MotoGP in the Czech Republic and NASCAR in Michigan this weekend!
