Hm I guess this would be a good time to say....I graduated. So I now have a bachelor of science in Biology.
No more fucking college....er for a year. Then medical school. I'm looking at a school in Tennessee actually. It will be opening in 2007 and its a little different, its an osteopathic medical school. Osteopaths are on the same level as a typical M.D. they can prescribe medicine, they take the same boards all that mess, but they also focus more on the person and their life over just handing over prescriptions. Which this is what I would prefer to do. The research I want to do would be very patient oriented I believe. One of my professors is going to start teaching there so I have a small advantage. Still waiting my MCAT scores though. If they aren't quite what they need to be I'm going to work to get my master's in that down time I will have. Though my goal is a 30 and my last practice test had me at 27 which would likely be good enough for an osteopathic school. So we shall see. I'm going to schedule my GRE sometime this summer. Seems I've just spent the last semester taking tests x_x.
