The "post something so the internet doesn't think you're dead" Post of DOOOM
So several months ago 
pennyplainknits did a meme (originated, I think, from
hermette ) that I adored so much I put it in my "to do" folder. It's called the "what's in your bag" meme.
Here is my bag. It's not an expensive one by any means, but it has easily accessible pockets for my keys and my cell, and is big enough for a water bottle; which are the two of my biggest concerns for any bag I have.
It's purple. I do love purple.
As to what is in my bag:
Starting at the 10-o-clock position and going clockwise. Wallet (which had to be small enough to fit into my jeans pocket because if I can get away with it I will go completely without a purse). Big hair clips for emergencies. Floss and Listerine. Chapstick (two kinds because while I love Burts Bees, nothing works quite as well for me, especially in the winter, as Carmex). Hand lotion. Ibuprofen. A small collection of pens. Ruby Stones Nail File. Several ponytail hairbands.
Keys (complete with robot face key covers, which I call John and Rodney. John is the black one with green eyes and he opens the house door because all John's ever wanted was a place to call home (Atlantis!) and Rodney's is the red one with blue eyes and he opens the door to church (where I teach Sunday School, because that's a good idea lol) because Rodney's all about figuring out the mysteries of the universe. iPod, named Patrick de Cadee (i blame pete wentz). Spare phone charger, which I go very few places without, seeing as my smart phone will last about 6 hours of continuous use before giving up the ghost. Compact mirror, because, while I don't consider myself particularly vain I still want to know if there's something in my teeth. Small hair clips. Hand sanitizer. Small notepad. Checkbook and water bottle.
Not pictured is my cellphone (which was used to take the pictures.) It's a Nexus S 4G named Castiel and I love it. It is my precious.
