As a follow up to my previous entry about my PRK vision correction surgery back in March, I'm happy to report that I had my three month checkup today and I have 20/15 in both eyes.

I had PRK 9 days ago. I didn't have many expectations other than it being very unpleasant. My eyes are so sensitive I was never able to wear contacts, or even easily get eye drops in. There were, of course, a lot of eye drops before the surgery. They give you an eye-ball stress ball to squeeze during the surgery.

One. I saw Nine Inch Nails a few weeks ago in Oakland, and it included an incredible light show. Their latest album, The Slip, is available for free download. And yes, ioerror, the BSOD was real, according to the Wired article, even though we both apparently missed it live.

+ I benched 225 yesterday for the first time. Without a spotter, so I could've done more. My previous best was 205, back in 2004, when I was in much better shape than I am now. 4 plates has long been a personal goal, so I feel a minor victory in this ( Read more... )

dada was amazing on Thursday. I've been listening to them for 15 years, and have probably listened to them more than any other band. I'd like to say I wept, because that's slightly more manly than crying, but you know. I almost missed the train. Roommate's out of town, so I had to stop by home to turn on the rat-dogs' bed heaters, or they'll feeze to death at night. I missed the 7:09pm train, but got the 5:58pm train instead... it was delayed an hour and twenty minutes. :)

I have 20/15 vision.

Corrected, but still, that's pretty damn good.
