Potpourri
So a lot has happened in my life since Christmas, and since I'm going to Liz's WEDDING tomorrow I figured I had better hurry up and upload some photos before I came back with pics of wedding dresses, cakes, and bouquets. So, first of all, there was THE HOLIDAY BOWL.
45-10 always equals a good game when that gaudy score is in favor of the California Golden Bears, but that game was made even better because I got to go with some of my favorite people.
Here I am with Andrew and Sandra getting ready to go. We have bear paw tattoos on our cheeks but you can't really tell.
Here I am with my favorite game day partner, Kimmi! Bran is there also, but he's camera shy. It was really nice to go to a game with my traditional Bear Backers.

Ok after the Holiday Bowl we took a trip to the Wild Animal Park! I love the WAP, especially on a sunny day with friends. I went with Andrew and his friend Luke, and we had a really great time. Here we are on the tram:
Actually, the Wgasa Bush line caused us a lot of trouble. The line was two hours long... ack. They brought out this Sugar Baby to keep us company:
By the time we finally got on, it was dark. So this is what most of the trip looked like:
Boo. We got close to the animals, but we couldn't really see them. So that was that. But most of the trip was really great. We saw:
lions
gorillas
crazy dragon things
lorikeets
one crazy macaw
and this Andean Cock-of-the-Rock (that's seriously its name) that dive-bombed me three times in the aviary! It was obviously a Cardinals fan that took umbrage at my Cubbies hat.
So we had a lot of fun, except for the tram in the dark and the lack of frozen lemonade.
Ok, I want to post some pictures of knitting I've done recently, but I will do it in a separate post to make this less random.
