Celebrations and Coffee Surprises

Midnight 1 May 2012
On the way home from tutoring, I ran into Tony and Zon, who were headed to Mr. Bean's and since we had to work out the details of seeing the Avengers, I made a pit stop and then joined them.  Tony was telling me about how he thinks Tim is gay which led to talking about relationships and dating, which led to the Gold Boy story.  After Tony leaves, Zon starts talking to Chris about doing a language exchange at the cafe.  Chris thinks Zon wants to use the event to meet Korean woman but Zon says, no I have a girlfriend, but Jessica is looking for a Korean boyfriend. Ahhhhhhhhh!  I turned to red and kind of wanted to hit Zon.
Chris is all like really? and then he brings over and introduces his employee! AHHHHH!  I have to admit the guy was pretty hot and hecka tall, esp for a Korean.  Anyway, Chris sits him down and we talk a little, whereby I learn that Im-Young (I think that's his name) is EIGHTEEN!  Triple AHHHH!
And mind you this conversation was super awkward bc I tried to conduct most of it in Korean since I don't think I'm-Young realized he's been roped into a blind date.  Luckily I suffering was cute short byt the arrive of his friend to pick him up, since his shift had just ended.  But Chris made sure to tell me Im-Young's full schedule and to mention that he'd give Im-Young breaks so we could talk!  Yikes!
I'm so horrible at dating that I don't think I can handle the added pressure of the language barrier.  Plus last year I was tutoring boys older than him, so it just feels like cradle-robbing.  I don't even know if Im-Young is attracted to foreign girls; he may only like Koreans or Asians.  Anyway, we will see what Fate has in store.

PS - Zon's look of horror when he realized what he started was kind of hilarious.  He put his hood over his head and pretended he wasn't there when Chris brought Im-Young over.

Also I returned home tonight to discover I've reached 200 sent postcards! Woot! This means I've also graduated to 13 traveling postcards. Yay!  I wish Korea's post wasn't so slow, I could have graduated months ago :(
