Housing Update
I CAN HAS KEYS. TWO OF THEM. FOR A CONDO.
And I started moving stuff out of the garage and into said condo today ^^ The cat tree, the coffee table, the painting stuff, the small pillows, the cleaning supplies, the towels and light bulbs....
INTO MY CONDO. MINE.
Glee.
We're painting on Saturday, finishing moving boxes and packing up the last things on Sunday, having movers out on Monday (we caved :( gotta get things up stairs and around corners, and that's just easier with professionals...), and I'm taking Tuesday off to unpack and take care of HOA-type things.
FOR MY CONDO.
Can you tell I'm excited? XD It's taken SO DAMN LONG. We thought we were closing on the 13th-- nope, nothing was ready. We then thought we were closing last Friday-- nope, the bank was still arguing with the HOA about back HOA dues. Then finally, FINALLY, we closed today. Glee! There's still shit to deal with, like the futon and the bitchy lady with her asshole son who still has it. And my dad not calling me back about helping move boxes. And the whole painting-and-fixing-things-up thing. And the rekeying thing. And the worrying-about-my-cats-adjusting thing. But still. It's mine, and it's pretty much done ^^
And in four days, I'll be living there =D Squee. I'll make someone take pictures once everything's unpacked, so I can show everybody ^^
