If money isn't important, why do you drive a Porsche?

My birthday was pretty awesome. Saw friends, fed a giraffe, punched a couple of cakes, you know the norm. Oh and I got Kings tickets which only adds to the awesomnity. Megan worked hard to surprise me and succeeded for the most part. I'm just too good at guessing. That and some people don't follow explicit directions. Whatev, I had a great time.
The first stop was the Santa Barbara zoo where I hadn't been since I went with my third grade class for a field trip. The only thing I remembered from that excursion was the train around the exterior. I believe the only other time I had gone before that was when the infamous goat-stealing-my-cookie incident occurred. I don't want to talk about that. I don't. Megan, Auston and I had a picnic and saw animals aplenty. It was quite eventful I even fed Gemina, the crooked-neck giraffe.
After dropping off Auston we headed out to Encino to meet people at the restaurant which so happened to be a hot dog place. Glorious. I had the Big Red Dog, but I asked for the Clifford. The employee didn't follow. Dinner was chaotic and crowded. Just what the doctor ordered. Pictures were taken, songs were sung and a black forrest cake got what it had comin' to it.
The group brave enough to proceed with shenanigans went to Universal Citywalk with the intention of bowling. That was quickly dispatched once the wait time was given. Three hours. No thanks. So we had an air hockey tournament and I went unbeaten. They don't call me the "The Jet" for nothing. Nobody calls me that, but they should start. The birthday challenge trifecta was completed with victories in that one basketball shooting game (you know which one) and virtual bowling. Even virtual bowling hurts.
The Kings won that night 7-0 which is quite the feat with the disastrous season they are having and the Lakers won by 16. Booyah achieved.
But, and this is quite the but, Park broke up. I'm not too surprised at this announcement but nonetheless sad.
