TV Show:
NCIS First there was JAG, then came NCIS which was followed by NCIS:LA but to me, despite loving JAG, I think it is the middle child that is the absolute best of the three.
One thing that I've picked up on, since I started writing these posts, is that I like shows with a strong ensemble. And every strong ensemble that I like is made up of actors who seem to have a genuine respect and friendship for/with each other. It could be an illusion of course but I don't think so. And I think it bleeds through a bit, on-screen. Whatever, enough of that.
My favorite relationship on the show is the one between Gibbs and Tony, it is very special and it is showcased best in season three's "Frame-up".

I love this scene between them, and Gibbs never says a word!
This cast is amazing and they do such great work. I don't know why I like shows that investigate crimes so much but I've always been attracted to them, the first show I ever remember being hooked on was
Hunter and I was five years old.
But I am hooked on these types of shows and I think one of the things that I like best about this show is that Gibbs and his team stand for their victims and their victims, usually, wear a uniform and there's just something really sad about that.
This show premiered in fall of 2003, I had been out of high school for a mere three months. I can't believe it has almost been a decade. I probably have a crush on someone in every show that I watch, this show is no different. Mark Harmon is a hottie and his Gibbs' is my guy but Michael Weatherly and his DiNozzo is a close second. I can always count on
DiNozzo making me laugh at some point in an episode and I can't help but love a guy who can make me laugh, even if he is fictional. But DiNozzo also has a habit of quoting or citing movies which is something I find really endearing.

Here, have some DiNozzo drumming.
