Hi folks. I'm just reading through the transcript of 'Limerick' that's been posted, and noticed it's got quite a few mistakes in it. Now I'm not criticising or trying to cause trouble because I *know* from experience that audio transcription is a tricky business, and it's even harder if English isn't your native language, or, in the case of Cabin Pressure, if you're not hugely familiar with British geography / celebrity names / writers, etc. (To give a few examples.) So if anyone who's doing a transcript and hasn't yet posted it would like me to go over it for them before posting, so I can pick up any misheard words, then please feel free to drop me a PM.
I'm not trying to take over or step on anyone's toes but I do assume that we'd all like the transcripts to be as accurate as possible, or why post them in the first place? I've been beta-reading for various LJ friends and RL author friends for 4 years now, and, as I mentioned, I've experience with audio transcription... AND I'm a huge fan of Cabin Pressure - I've listened to some of the episodes at least 6 times, so I'd be happy to help before you post, to save myself from having to leave comments full of emendations.
Mod: I hope you don't mind this post - I just thought I'd make the offer...
