Another, broader request

I am definitely still looking for undergrad-friendly pieces on the following topics:

• activism/political change (including "how to")
• the ways in which individuals construct and reconstruct racial categories and systems
• sexuality/gender & race
• race & criminal justice
• race & employment

Academic articles are good (if not TOO dense), but I also welcome well-written blog posts, news articles, etc. Please! If you THINK something might be useful to me, post it or send me a PDF or a citation. I really want this class to be a good one, and I want to give the students materials that get them invested in and really thinking about the topic.

Oh! I'd also like something about race and the military, if anyone's got that.

ETA: And littlebutfierce, thanks again for the rec of "Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?" I'm assigning at least two chapters from it.
