I bought the most fantastic dress in the world today at a thrift store in Jamaica Plain. You know foomanchoo will roll his eyes and say that I think EVERY dress is the most fantastic dress in the world, but you can ask queenofhalves or moiety_tx--they were there, and it IS. It is from the FUTURE. It has HOLSTER POCKETS.
Now I have to go out dancing just so I can wear this dress and my black platform boots with all the buckles, and everyone will say, "Who IS that woman and how did she GET here FROM THE FUTURE? ...SHE WILL HAUNT MY DREAMS FOREVER."
On a related note, we determined over a lovely sushi lunch that I really need a t-shirt that says "other people cosplay ME". I think I still have some iron-on transfer paper for my printer...
Oh, and I got a green corduroy dress that is cut in a very flattering way also, but it has a lot of snags on it. moiety_tx suggested that I could put patches of some sort over them. I'm wondering how it would look if I sewed a bunch of different buttons all over it. Possibly not as good as one might imagine, but I don't know. It could be fun. Maybe just a lot of pink buttons, to go with my pink gogo boots.

How fucking awesome is that? The label says "Quantum Leap," but I can't find anything about it online.
