domesticity

Perhaps due to yesterday's pants-shopping trials, when I got to the gym today I had "Baby Got Back" stuck in my head like a persistent aural nettle. It didn't help that someone sang it at karaoke last week, either ( Read more... )

Your whole bus section confused me and I figure that if reading someone talking about catching buses confuses me I'm lucky I don't have to catch a bus any time soon.

I also had to remind myself that not all exercise bikes have moving handles and that my first assumption (that you had some mad object levitational skills) was way off. My sister used to have such an exercise bike (handle moving) that I took to. I used to click it up to the hardest setting and "pedal" with my arms. I was hoping this would give me some kind of edge should I ever need to pull myself up from dangling over a cliff or building (I had just seen The Good Son) or if I were holding two people over a cliff I was hoping that I could pull them both up. Anyway I never found myself in that situation but as I've mentioned I have a few kickboxing trophies which I could probably attribute to that exercise bike.

The point of this story is that perhaps you should learn to levitate things so you can use the handle moving bikes to save yourself the pain of dropping a loved one over a cliff. ;)

And finally, that episode of Cold Case does sound good. The one that was on tonight was really depressing even though it Elena from Felicity was in it and I love Elena from Felicity. But the guy killed his own brother and his death caused his friend to turn into a "gangsta" and it (obviously) ruined his life. Also, Elena's parents were murdered and they were good people. So sad. :(

It probably helps to have the schedule to look at.

I've been working on my arms more in the weight room lately, actually, doing tricep and bicep curls; thus far, I would be lucky to pull a mid-sized dog to safety, but I'm working on it.

There was an episode of SVU kind of like that where a kid got molested and he molested two younger boys in the neighborhood and killed one of them and the other one was kind of nuts and then when the molestee/molester grew up his wife shot him for molesting their son.

In conclusion, you're WEIRD, Matt. :p

As long as you stop before you turn into Chyna you'll be fine. ;) Maybe you should try to bench the combined weight of your sisters to be sure though.

Also, I am not weird! When have I ever been weird? Never, that's when!

Man, I already had to exchange that button-down shirt for the next size up because of my arms... I swear women's clothing is all based on the idea that no woman would ever intentionally have something as crass as MUSCLES, though. My calves are not, I don't think, exceptionally well-developed and I can almost never zip boots up over them. >:(

I just assumed that having clothes so tight that they cut off your circulation was the fashion these days. :p
