Wow, sure has been a while since I updated here. Lots has happened. I enjoyed the college trip, mainly because I got to go to Northeastern again and Boston is my favorite city. I know I'm only a sophomore, and there is plenty of time, but if I had to apply to college today, Northeastern would be my first choice. Anyway, on Thursday, I was completely out of it. This was especially awesome because I had to bat boy opening night at the Sea Dogs. Luckily I snapped out of my daze and had a good time at the game. Ben has cat like reflexes on foul balls behind the plate, so he left me in the dust. Friday afternoon was nonstop action. I had track practice, which was longer because I worked on triple jump. I came home and played some football in the street for an hour or so, then had to run in and get ready for the NHS induction ceremony. I was the last one to get inducted, which was just dandy. After the ceremony and after much deliberation, I decided to have people over my house. Ang, Jamie, Jess, Rachel, and Kyle (all fellow NHS members) came, and we were joined by Jon, Ben C and Sean. After running down to Red's before it close, we played some wild games of basketball, which Ben dominated because he can jump about 3 feet in the air.
Saturday was intense. I had the track bottle drive at 9, and didn't return home until quarter of 5. It was crazy. We got an insane amount of bottles (about 4 truck fulls). It was amazing how we managed to go through montains and mountains of bags of bottles and cans and get them all sorted and in the trucks in a relatively short amount of time. After everything was loaded, my parents volunteered me to go help unload the trucks. All I'll say is I feel bad for the workers at the redemption center on Brighton Ave. I wouldn't be surprised if they are still there now counting our bottles.
Last night was Zach's belated birthday partay. Jamie, Jess, Brem, Ang, Jon and I were there. We played some video games, ate some pizza, and watched Bad Boys II. It was a pretty good time. We all came to a consensus that Jon has ADHD, or something like it. Or he was on some sort of drug. Today I have a boatload of APUSH (what else is new), and a chem test to study for, which I should be getting to right about now.
