Good morning, Christina.

Yo.

First of all, I'd like to say a big fat thank you to everyone who commented on my last two posts about the C situation and offered their support. You rock. Needless to say, it's been pretty rubbish, and the last thing any of us needed to deal with on top of everything else. Den's Dad, who he was very close to, passed away a few weeks back. I was quite sick with the flu at the time, and have been under MASSIVE stress at work. And, with Matt's mental health being what it is, he needs his friends behind him 100%. He doesn't need his friends bursting into his flat, hurling heavy books at his head, threatening him with violence and physically intimidating his friends. It's completely un-called for, mate.

Matt and Den (and Matt's boss) gave statements to the Police on Wednesday morning, and the Police said they'd try tracking him down that evening. And...that's the last we've heard from them. We've not idea if C was arrested, or taken in for questioning, or if the Police gave him a warning...or anything. We *do* know, through the grapevine, that C isn't at all sorry for what he did. Den mentioned this morning that he'd heard from our friend Sam, who'd heard from a mutual friend of his and C's, that C didn't consider it a big deal that he'd thrown and book at Matt or abused him (he just "lost his temper a little", apparently). He also said the only reason he shoved Den was because Den took a swing at him first. Utter. Bullshit. I'm willing to bet several dollars that he told the Police the exact same thing if they ever managed to catch up with him. GAH.

So...yeah. Not overly sure where this is leading. But, it's quite likely this will end up in the courts. And I'm more than prepared to testify against C should it go that far, and if he pleads not guilty. He needs to be punished in some way for what he put us through. Even if it's just having to give a donation of a community group, or paying a fine, or writing us a letter of apology. They can't let him get away with this...

Anyway. To get our minds off C for just a little bit, here's some knitting pr0n to keep y'all entertained. These are all projects I've started and finished in the last year or so.

This is my first scarf, and the only thing I've knitted for myself that I've actually finished. Y'know, before heaps of my mates started breeding, and I came up with the silly idea of knitting everyone's birthday presents. ;P It's not my most favourite project, I'll confess. But it's nice and soft and snuggly, and the colour is SO ME. ;) Currently making a beret to match.

Fear my cabling!

Fear my fedora!

Matt's Christmas beanie from last year. He totally rocks it. Most luscious, gorgeous yarn EVAR.

I will most likely be getting no sexy time for a year if he discovered I've put this photo up ;P
I think it's adorable.

Some cute baby hats. For an old school friend in Australia, a mate of Matt's, and a colleague of mine, respetively.

One!

Two!

Three!

I made this for my Nana, Dad's mother, who's in a resthome in Nelson. She's lost a lot of her memory, and I doubt she'd know who I was if she saw me now. :( Which is sad. Hopefully, this'll keep her nice and warm, with winter coming on. Just need to get off my toosh and send it!

These are my first projects on double-pointed needles. Not a bad effort Made these for my darling friends, screwthepast and anord for their birthdays in February.

Alex, squeeing with her wristwarmers. ;)

Buttons!

Aaaaaand, I made this for my flatmate, Rahila, for her birthday in March. Super easy pattern, really pretty yarn.

So yeah. Lotsa photos. Comments? *looks cute*
