Seven things that made me happy on Day 7:
*
This, which I found on
christianblog's journal this morning. I lol'd. Very impressed with the dude's Madonna gloves, and that he's managed to pull that routine off without slipping in the shower. Skillz. 'Cept he looks a bit like
buzzy_bee_nz's husband, which freaks me out a little.
* Almost done with the Chrimbo shopping. Which included buying myself a cute blue, yellow and pink headscarf from Glassons. My addiction to headscarves knows no bounds. I blame
roadtomanderlay. ;P
* Deep fried camembert from Hell Pizza for afternoon tea.
* Delicious butter chicken for dinner, cooked by Matt's flattie. With oven wedges, instead of potatoes! Actually very tasty.
* Prairie dogs. I want one.
* Still squeeing muchly over the Mountain Goats gig on Thursday. John Darnielle is many shades of adorable. Cutest stage prescence ever- kinda like a little kid, rocking out in front of the mirror with a hairbrush microphone, and not knowing anyone's actually watching. He told heaps of dorky and hilarious stories before each song- including about the time he and his teenage sweetheart tried to run away to New York together, but then his mum found out, and they had to hand the plane tickets over. ;p
anord and I want to have him over for dinner. Aw, and the bassist? Sex on a lollipop stick. Just as a bonus.
* I am in love, and it's nice. :) Spent the evening cuddled up with Matt on the couch, eating cornchips and choccie, and watching Indianna Jones, snogging during all the boring bits. I feel all warm and squiggly-like. He's lovely...
Life is...ok, actually. :)
