busy bee
Last week was quite the busy week between work, SFSI and being social.
I worked overtime on Monday and got in a short date night with Brian afterwards. We went over to the westfiend center and saw Death at a Funeral, which was quite amusing.
Tuesday night I had a work social event. It was way underattended, but a good time for the few people that showed up. Took home a bunch of leftovers which made good lunches for the next day or two. =P
Wednesday night, SFSI board meeting - I was elected Director of Volunteer Services. I decided to re-take the training class in order to start my training as a supervisor on the switchboard. I ordered SFSI mini moo cards, which I'm very excited about.
Thursday night was my regular shift on the switchboard. We got a decent number of calls/emails and had a good time as usual.
Friday night - made an appearance at the monthly game night in Berkeley, then went to hang out with steluch and her mom for a bit. Happy belated birthdays to cat_herder and trinsf.
Saturday night - sfsi's 35th anniversary party. watched awful porn, and sang almost as awful karaoke. Oh, and you know, socialized and such. A very good time. :)
Sunday - We had a delicious brunch at cock-a-doodle cafe with darkcryst and miriammiriam. Sadly, their fantastic weekend brunch menu doesn't appear on the website. But believe me when I tell you, it's delicious. After prepping some food for caramida's game, I spent the rest of the afternoon with steluch's mom watching romantic comedies on dvd.
Looking forward to a slightly less busy week. :)
