Monday I had just the crappiest day I can remember having in a very long time. I don't even really know why.. there were a lot of little bad things, but nothing out of the ordinary. Just on-edge emotional blaarginess. Many thanks to steluch and enf for dragging me out for pizza and beers at lanesplitter's to help get me out of my funk.
Yesterday, (tuesday) I was treated to a surprise visit mid-day from caramida! He read to me while I sorted some mail. He even brought me a little cheering up present, a key-chain size Peaco Ugly Doll. So cute!
Then after work/school, we met up again for our date night. We went and got yummy tri-tip sandwiches at Buckhorn grill and then we went to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. It was good fun. Some of it was very silly. But, hi? it's the ninja turtles, I hope you aren't expecting seriousness. There were many recognizable voice stars, some of which surprised me. Anyway, I look forward to seeing it again, perhaps at the parkway or cerrito, even though they gave April an internal corset. =P
edited to add: We saw a preview for the next Harry Potter movie, wow! It looks amazing. I can't wait! [insert fan-girl squee-ing here] /edit
