Heartrate increasing while I'm passing time
Earlier this week I got back from visiting Chicago for a week! Whoo! I had so much fun, non-stop enjoyment! The only downfall is coming back to KC. I realize how much my city lets me down. Perhaps Chicago has some areas that can be unforgiving, but KC takes the cake for finding ways of making life punishing, namely the bus system. I swear in Chicago I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus or train. Tonight I waited a god damn hour for the bus after class in KC. Blah! I don't think I would enjoy living in Chicago but it has got me motivated to change my standard of living in KC. I really love my city, I love the music and art, and locations, but it's so dead. I don't know how to live more lively when it's so hard just to meet new people. Ahh I'll figure all that out, no big deal. By the time I figure out the trick to this city I'll be heading the China to teach and fall in love with even bigger cities there.
I miss you Chicago.
