Well, it used t' be with a beer (or somethin' stiffer) but that's not the case anymore. I dunno, usually by the time I get home I'm calmer than I was at the office. Ouch. Yeah, I hear ya. It's that lack of permanency that made me leave the FBI myself. They had me 'temporarily' stationed as a travelin' A/V specialist t' departments all over the country.

Meh. Sometimes the FBI needs a good revolt every now and then. By the same token, *leaving* the FBI was the best thing that ever happened t' me. S' don't let 'em hold ya down.

The last time they tried to take my partner away from ne, I responded by trashing my career. I'm pretty sure they don't want to see what I'd do if they try it again.

Ooh, ouch. Yeah, I hadn't had a partner in ferever, so they couldn't dangle that over my head. But isn't that more reason t' get the position ya want? What department are ya lookin' at?

I think I'm gonna stay where I am for now. My partner still works with me, he just doesn't work on this task force. But they let us interact as we please.
