One Piece 588 - quick reaction
Well, I liked the explanation of why Ace chose to die for Luffy, comparing it to something his father would have done, something that he had done in the past, and also because it was Sabo's last request.
I don't think Sabo's really gone though, he had plenty of warning that the last blast was coming, and he's a tough little thing. I'm not really sure giving Ace a reason to live and then die is the point of this arc. That would be a LOT of work for that much information...there has to be something more, and the symmetry of the thing - having lost a brother, Luffy regains one - pleases me.
Maybe he'll drift out to sea and join the Revolutionaries, and will turn up as Robin's boyfriend. :-P Yeah, random speculation is random.
Worst thing is the fact that Oda's taking a break next week. Dang!
Oh yeah, random linkage, here's an interesting CSI-ish article about what really killed Ötzi, the encased-in-ice man who was the inspiration for Oars/Odz. It wasn't that he was so dumb as to roam around a land of ice clad in only a loincloth! :-P
