Job offers up the ying-yang!
So, I was going to work at Big 5, right? Well, yesterday I got a call from Lady Foot Locker (who I've been talking to off & on for 3 weeks). They were offering me a job. $8 an hour, 30-40 hours a week until school started. I told them I'd think about it and call them back. I call them back an hour later to hear about the discounts -- 30% off of everything at Lady Foot Locker, Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs, for me and my parents or if I'm buying gifts for people! That sold me.
So, I called up Big 5 and told them that I appreciated the opportunity to work there, but that I had gotten a job offer with more hours. I felt bad about backing out, but I had to do what's best for me...
I go in tomorrow to Lady Foot Locker and maybe I'll get to start working this week!
