Summary: Little Sho and Little Jun can't wait to play.
"Are you ready to go, Sho-chan?" Nino asked his six year-old son as he took the last sip of his coffee from the cup and washed it quickly.
"Un!" Little Sho nodded happily and ran excitedly to his father, his teddy bear clung tightly to his arm.
"You're so wide awake! You don't need any caffeine like Papa," he laughed and carried the boy in his arms." Be kind to your uncle, okay?" He ruffled his hand on boy's head.
"I'll do my best, Papa," Sho said and winked at his father.
Nino shook his head and laughed. "You ARE my son, after all."
---
"Hurry, Papa! Sho-chan and I will play!" Five year-old Jun tugged his father's hand and pulled him to the car.
"Hold on, Jun-chan! Let me get the keys so that we can go to your uncle's house. Don't break anything this time, okay?" Aiba shook his index finger at his son.
"It was Sho-chan who pushed the vase last time," Jun placed his hands on his hips in defense.
"But it was your idea, I heard," Masaki looked seriously at the little boy.
Jun shrugged then slowly giggled at his Papa as both of them got in the car.
---
"Jun-chan!!!!" Sho practically ran out of the car and hugged his younger cousin.
"Finally, Sho-chan!" Jun rolled his eyes and hugged the other tight. "What took you so long?"
"Eh?" Sho frowned. "It's exactly 8:00 AM. I'm just here on time."
"Come!" Jun pulled his cousin's hand and ran to the backyard.
"Jun-chan! Sho-chan! Let's have some snack first!" Satoshi called after the two little boys. He shook his head and laughed. No matter how naughty those two are, he loved them as if they were his own.
Satoshi brought a tray with a pitcher of apple juice and some bread for the boys at the backyard garden. "Snack time!"
"Yosh!" Jun hurriedly ran to grab two pieces of bread. He handed one to Sho. "Have you figured it out"? He sat beside Sho on the mat spread on the grass.
"Hmmm...?" Sho's brows furrowed as he read the diagram on the new Lego set that Jun brought. "I think I have figured it out," he smiled and accepted the bread from Jun. "Thanks!"
Satoshi joined the boys on the mat. "What do we have here?"
"We're making a Lego dinosaur, Uncle Satoshi!" Jun said and hugged his uncle from behind.
"Ahhh!" Satoshi fell backwards on top of Jun.
"Attack!!!" Sho jumped over his Uncle and the two boys teamed together to tickle their uncle.
--
Later that evening, Satoshi closed the storybook he read to the two boys. Little Jun and little Sho fell asleep hugging each other.
Satoshi planted a gentle kiss on their heads and tucked them under the sheets. The kids reminded him of how he and his brothers, Nino and Masaki, were when they were little.
He closed the door and checked on his new vase. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that it was unscathed.
Something shiny caught his eye under his sofa. He found shards of glass from a shattered paper holder.
He sighed. "Boys will be boys."
