Spider Man 3
spider man spider man does whatever a spider can...remember that catchy song? well the start of the summer blockbusters have arrived. spider man 3 premiered this past friday and i was able to catch the midnight showing here. i kinda like watching the first showing because it's with real comic fans and there just seems to be more laughs with them than if you watch it any other time.
overall i was pleased with the movie and what they did with it. having three villans in the movie seemed a bit much but they way they made it, it all worked out. we are pretty much witnessing the modern day superman man movies it seems. the money this movie has generated is crazy and it might not even last long as pirates 3 comes out later this month.

from a boxing point of view it was a well executed match but from a casual boxing fan it did not live up to the hype. with all the promotion and advertising i guess i was expecting an action packed fast paced type of fight, but i understand why it played out that way.

weekend
friday night was a long one but fun. for the first time i actually made it out to the first friday events out here. i always just go to beauty bar for the post first friday parties but i made it out to the streets with my friends raechel and carlos. it was awesome to see all these artists art work displayed and listen to some good music. the reason we were there was because raechel had a friend modeling for a fashion show which was kind of whack.
we picked up some 40's drank it while walking (gotta love our vegas laws) and from there it was non-stop drinking. by midnight i was gone and it did fear like i was in a scene of fear and loathing. our night finally ended around 530AM on the way home i saw the sun slowly coming up.

it was a good episode of entourage tonight, lot's of funny lines.
damn phoenix suns lost!! aww they better win this series cause i want nash to win a championship. what were the refs watching, usually the home team get most of the calls but for some reason today they were all going the spurs way.
so i will leave a list of some of the movies that will be coming out this summer. i guess i should start studying for finals
* shrek 3 may 11 (i remember watching the first one a few years back and was really surprised of how good it was, cause there was another summer blockbuster hit that came out at the same time as this movie but i ended up watching this one. second one was kinda whack)

*surfs up june 8 ( trailer looked good)
*fantastic four: rise of the silver surfer june 15(i havent even seen the first one but i've always like the silver surfer)
*evan almight june 22 (instead of waiting for the dvd like the first one i might have to watch this one in theatres cause it's starring steve carell)
die hard 3 or 4 i dunno june 27 (never really got into them except the one with sam jackson)
transformers july 4 (definitely seeing this one)
harry potter 4 july 13 (trailer looks awesome)
