While we've had a mild summer so far, there have been days where I've felt like I live in a circle of hell. I think the apartment on Ordway will be mine. I've been emailing back and forth with the landlord all day and we've established a tentative moving date for August 11. He said the building is weird about weekend move-ins so he'll get back to me. Instead of starting my vacation time Tuesday, the great birthday-take-off has to wait until Wednesday. There are a few very important items that need to be done before I can take days off guilt-free. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so conscientious, but there you have it.
