Profound thoughts.
I just watched the full Captain America trailer and I was really distracted by how tiny Chris Evans is in the first half. Some internet fan said how awesome it looks, him going from some wimpy guy to a jacked up Captain America... but all I could think was, are there some special effects to give him a receding chinline? Was that even him? His face looked like it was dropped on a preadolescent's body.
I also kind of hate how beefy Evans looks. Chris Evans is hot, and I thought he showed some actual range in Sunshine as opposed to the one-dimensional prop in the Fantasic Four movies. Plus watching him and Bryce Dallas Howard be all drawly to each other in Loss of a Teardrop Diamond (which has no other redeeming qualities) was totally sexy. But he's too beefcake in the CA stills.
Tonight I'm taking myself out for dinner and Jane Eyre. I need to stop reading reviews because all I found were how little chemistry Fassbender and Wasikowska have together, and that Fassbender doesn't play Rochester dark enough. I don't want much, just to see how Wasikowska is doing a few years after blowing me away in In Treatment, and to drool over the British spy from Inglourious Basterds.
