First off, I'm not even watching any shows right now. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be all scheduled out and staying in and watching tv but, frankly, I haven't bothered. I don't care. I'm watching a few more movies than usual (although Shine's been sitting on my table for two weeks), but my general malaise apparently bled through to all aspects of my life.
Second: As girlfromsouth points out, they'll probably cancel it in about five minutes. Reading through the article, I see the show was originally a Fox project that Whedon jumped onto after Dushku convinced him, but you'd think he'd have learned by now. And Tim Minear? What are you doing? Do you two have no recollection of the fates of Firefly, Wonderfalls, and The Inside? Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it, sirs.
Maybe we'll get at least a few good episodes and a DVD set with the unaired. And they are getting paid.
