Drabble Request Post
These past couple of days, I feel like my creativity's being sucked dry. So instead of going through the usual self-depracating "woe is me" phase that I normally go through with Writer's Block, I thought I'd open myself to a new idea.
So! Here's the basic rundown:

It's a Sunday morning ritual.
Waking up to coffee gives people a buzz, waking up to an alarm clock gives people a scare; waking up with Jaejoong curled against his side makes Yunho feel like the day is his.
A glance at the clock. 12:30. They've slept in but he doesn't hear any noise outside. Likely, the others are still in bed as well, catching up from the busy few weeks they've been having (work, traveling between two countries, resting up for a couple of days, then back to the rat race again -- rinse, repeat).
Amidst the still of the morning, he feels Jaejoong stirring. Eyes flutter open, blinking fast thrice. Yunho props his elbow up on the older one's pillow, tossing him a lazy grin.
"Hey." Jaejoong smiles, voice soft.
"Hey yourself." Nothing out of the ordinary. He welcomes the familiarity of it all, burying his nose into the crook of Jaejoong's neck. "-- Dream last night?" This was also a part of their morning routine: dream interpretation. Jaejoong was prone to nighttime flights of fancy. It fascinated him how the older man thought.
"Nnn. Rolling fields and mountains. And some rainfall." That made sense, since Yunho had woken up during the night to a short summer storm. "But I just ran through it and it eventually stoppped." A rising laugh. "Guess that means I'm safe."
"You were doubting something." Jaejoong peers at him quizzically when Yunho pulls away. "I think the open spaces are a metaphor. Facing uncharted territory." He sees Jaejoong mouth Tokyo Dome and smiles. "And mountains...you've got to climb those, right?" Jaejoong nods. "Probably for difficulties you feel like you need to face in the future."
A silence. Then a quiet hum. Yunho meets Jaejoong's admiring gaze. "Not bad. But the end of the dream...you forgot about that." Sharp angles and Jaejoong's soft voice envelop him. He can't help but think how he never wanted to let this go, never say goodbye. "The rain clears to give way to the sun. All doubts dispelled." A gentle kiss pressed to the side of his mouth. "What's your theory on that, doctor?"

"I didn't know you wanted us to roleplay."
Jaejoong smacks his arm, giggling. He smirks despite the sting. Just the reaction he wanted. "Stop. Seriously, I want to hear what you think."
Through the parted curtains, sunlight streams in from the Seoul skyline, dancing across their skin. Yunho wraps his arms around Jaejoong's waist, a warm sigh and a faint scent pervading his senses. "You know what I think?" A fond smile flits across his features. "I think your dream's all about us. If you're the rain and I'm the earth," Jaejoong laughs into his collar, "then we'll always find each other when things get stormy...right?"
"Don't give yourself too much credit now." The way Jaejoong nestles closer to him belies his mock-reproachful cadence. "Besides, I think it's the other way around." Yunho peers at him quizzically as he pulls away. "Yunho-yah is like the morning rain," he runs his hands through Yunho's hair, "always there."
"And I thought I was the sentimental one." He laughs with Jaejoong at that remark. Nothing out of the ordinary.
It was their Sunday morning ritual, after all.

really, amazing. the yunjae here was really sweet and this... wasn't what I expected, to tell you the truth. I was expecting angst, but you gave me fluff, and I just... I'm at a loss for words. this was beautiful, really, and you write so well. I would love to quote something, love to tell you what I feel about every line here, but I'd really be quoting everything. they were silly, in a cute way, but I could feel the love. :) they'll always be together, and we know that, we trust in that. no matter what happens, they'll always be there for each other, they'll always find each other in good and bad times, they'll always remain as one, just like you said. and I just, adore this piece and the way you write so, so, so much. thank you so much for this wonderful drabble, it was longer than I thought it would be. :D I'm glad I inspired you dear, inspiration is really important to all the writers out there, and I hope this helped you in searching for your inspiration. You inspire me. I mean it, from the bottom of my heart. :)

Ohgod, so terribly flattered with everything you've said about this drabble --!! [Spazzing out so badly right now] And I really am so glad I inspired you! Writing this *really* got me mentally prepared to continue "Café Bisco," my multichapter baby, and give the budding YunJae relationship in there all I've got. (Fighting!)
Akald;haf and honestly, I wish I could quote that whole bit you did about YunJae and how you perceive them because that's exactly how I feel. :')) 'Real' or not 'real,' attraction or no attraction...somehow, just having those two find each other in this wide world is like a miracle of love in and of itself.
