In 1999, when lj was just starting, I headed to Alaska to start my MA in Anthropology. I had still never come across "fandom" or lj myself, and Pros was a fond memory from the past... *g*
I started my lj in 2005, just after I'd got back to Alaska to start my PhD this time - and just after I'd re-discovered Pros via dvds from Lovefilm, and had discovered fandom and Pros slash. Obviously that was what I'd been seeing in the eps - how had I not realised it before now? *vbg*
