Well the ferrets are gone. Someone came by just awhile ago and picked them up. They almost got loose from the "holding" cage I had put them in. Actually they did. But my son and I were able to round them up and get them back in before they got too far away. Actually it's a travel cage. My daughter called a couple or so hours ago and said she had found someone interested in the ferrets. She said she would give them my e-mail address and phone #'s so they could contact me as to when they would be coming by to pick them up. So I still haven't found anyone who wants to adopt 3 ferrets. Darn.
I was really hoping she or I would find a home for them before they got ready to move.
They are "tying up" a few loose ends and then they will be headed up this way.

So- if I hadn't called the church a few days ago- I would not have learned that my pastors mother had passed away. I was calling to find out more about the Riverside Festival and while talking to the church secretary- she told me. What gets me is- she says- "You heard about Pastor Bob's mother passing away."
